As one of the favourites, Danny Willett of Saujana Hotels & Resorts was determined not to let go at the recent Omega European Masters held at Crans-Montana, Switzerland from 23 to 26 July 2015.

The 27-year-old Sheffield golfer, who finished in a tie for sixth at the British Open last Monday, picked up his first European Tour victory since triumphing at the Nedbank Golf Challenge in South Africa in December. Danny was pushed all the way by fellow countrymen, Matthew Fitzpatrick and Tyrell Hatton in front of a record breaking 55,000 spectators.

But he shot a five-under par 65 to win his third European Tour title in the Omega European Masters in Switzerland. Following a successful week for Willett at St Andrews, he was more than pleased with his performance in Switzerland.

“I was very, very good. I kept very, very calm all day. I just waited for the right things to happen and get on a run,” Danny said.

Danny has proven himself as the seventh Englishman to win the European Masters and moved up the Ranking eight spots to 24 in the Official World Golf Rankings.
